The root crops are doing pretty well. I don’t know if it’s a difference in the varieties, but the golden beets are lagging behind the reds.

There’s a lot more happening in the raised beds. Almost too much to fit into a quick update. The radishes are picking up steam. Some of them are pushing out their first true leaves.
In another bed, the carrots and bunching onions are finally making an appearance. I was especially worried about the carrots. They are notoriously difficult to germinate. It has taken two light waterings a day to keep the surrounding soil moist enough to make this happen.
